Trawl Winch

The TW100 Trawl Winch from PETEC Services is a compact, high-performance solution for 40 to 65-foot vessels. Its single-base configuration makes it ideal for smaller fishing boats. In addition, the locally designed gearbox features clear covers and lubrication inspection ports for easy maintenance. Meanwhile, the main gears operate in an oil bath to deliver smooth performance and long-lasting durability. Thanks to its low maintenance requirements, the winch only needs an oil change every 1,000 hours, along with periodic greasing. As a result, it provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for commercial fishing operations.

For powerful performance, the TW100 delivers a maximum pull of 17.5 tonnes on an empty drum and 5 tonnes on a full drum at 150 bar pressure. It also accommodates up to 1,000 metres of 19 mm steel cable, operates at a mean line speed of 31 metres per minute, and requires an oil flow of 150–250 litres per minute. Furthermore, the drilling template allows for quick deck mounting and simplifies installation. Finally, engineers adapted the winch for the South American market to meet the demands of commercial fishing operations worldwide.
